Bruce Jonas, Esq.

L. Bruce Jonas grew up in Tampa, Florida and attended the University of South Florida.  He attended law school at Nova Southeastern University where he earned his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) in 1997.  During law school, Bruce volunteered as a Guardian Ad litem and was a law clerk for the Florida 3^rd District Court of Appeals.  After law school, he became a Public Defender in Hillsborough County where he served his passion for helping people in difficult situations and gained experience in many hearings and trials.  From there he went into private practice with civil litigation, property, probate, estate planning, and business law. 

Bruce is also an entrepreneur, having owned and sold multiple businesses.  He grew up in the construction industry working with both parents and has also owned two construction companies.   Bruce and his family are passionate about helping children, animals, the environment and people with special needs.  They are actively involved in numerous charitable organizations such as FARA, Metropolitan Ministries, Focus Academy, GiGi’s Playhouse, Lamplighters, and Canine Companions.  Bruce is currently serving on the boards of In God We Trust Foundation, Support Our Troops, Character GPS, Florida Deer Farmers Association and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. 

The Jonas Family is also actively involved in athletics and outdoor activities.  They share their athletic abilities and experience by serving Special Olympics Florida, as coaches, unified partners and financial supporters for multiple sports (swimming, rhythmic gymnastics, track, and pickleball).  Bruce coaches and helped co-found the first Special Olympics Pickleball Team for Hillsborough County. 

Bruce is also Master black belt in Martial Arts winning multiple grand championships and a Florida state title.  He has taught thousands of students (including law enforcement, military, professional athletes, business and community leaders) and has years of experience helping others learn to protect themselves.

Justice Law is excited to have Bruce as part of the Firm.  Together with extensive experience in complex scenarios, compassion to help others and to fight for those in need; Bruce brings his skill set to the Justice Law Firm to focus on fighting for victims of accidents, injury, and loss of life due to the negligence of others.
